About Us
Meet the Founder
After a total of 12 years service in the Australian Army with RAEME, then transitioning into the mining industry, I faced significant challenges with my mental health. Like many veterans, I hesitated to seek help, feeling isolated and unsure where to turn. These experiences led me to a turning point—studying psychology to better understand mental health and how to support others.
In the past two years, I took an opportunity to travel Australia with my family, gaining a fresh perspective and clarity about my purpose. This journey followed the devastating loss of several mates to suicide and my own touch with a serious illness that nearly claimed my life. These events strengthened my resolve to make a difference, and as I successfully navigated my Department of Veterans’ Affairs claims, I became even more determined to help others do the same.
Earning my Bachelor of Psychology is just the beginning of my development in this field. My journey continues as I strive to deepen my knowledge and expand my skills to better serve veterans and others in need. My own lived experience allows me to connect authentically with clients, bridging the gap between understanding mental health challenges and finding practical, empathetic solutions.
With a combination of personal experience, professional training, and a commitment to ongoing growth, I am here to support others in overcoming challenges, transitioning to new phases of life, and building a stronger, healthier future.
